Our community midwives encounter topics such as child allowance, maternity benefit, parental allowance and other forms of support related to their own life situations and those of their clients on a daily basis.
The aim of our new project was to design and implement financial literacy training for midwives and health mediators who are active in health education within the Mission 1000 program. This tailor made training was meant to help them understand the basics of financial literacy related to parenthood, called Financial Minimum of a (Future) Parent.
As part of the planned activities we also prepared a supporting material, a leaflet that will serve as an educational tool for the clients of the midwives.
The project Financial Minimum of a (Future) Parent received support under the grant call GV-2022-3.
“The project Financial Minimum of a (Future) Parent is funded by the Grant Programs of the NBS Foundation (www.nadacianbs.sk).“
